Class Schedule Times

During the class room portion of training, classes are scheduled for five hours a day, Monday though Friday, except for School Holidays.  The school offers morning, mid-morning, afternoon and evening classes.  PCI Health Training Center provides several class schedule options in order to make career training times convenient to students’ work schedule and transportation needs.

Depending on the students chosen field of study, a student may choose the following class schedules:

Morning 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician & Psychiatric Assistant Students

Morning 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. Medical Office Assistant Students

Mid-Morning 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Medical Assistant Students Only

Afternoon 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Medical Assistant & Medical Office Assistant Students

Evening 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Medical Office Assistant & Psychiatric Assistant Students

If you are planning to attend PCI, you may want to contact the admissions office well in advance of the next start date since preferred class schedule times fill up quickly.

Student Orientation
 

All new PCI students must attend a New Student Orientation session prior to their first day of class.  During this orientation, students are given an overview of what to expect during their medical training program, advised of school policies and procedures, introduced to key school faculty and staff, and receive the PCI Student Handbook.  The Student Handbook contains an overview of pertinent School policies and procedures, and provides answers to the most frequently asked student questions.
